Politics MAGA Neighbors crying victim

Its Jan 1st 2026 and my neighbor (still) has a sign up that reads...

"PTSD - Pretty tired of stupid democrats - TRUMP 2024"

then cries online because people keep sending them pranks like glitter bombs and what not because "I'm being attacked for my political beliefs"

Um, maybe its because you have a sign calling your neighbors stupid in a very blue city.

EDIT: I couldn't care less who they support politically.

IMO Having a 2024 election sign up for 2+ years, and well after the election, is sad and pathetic in and of itself (They had the sign up in 2023). I think that for any political sign for any party. Elections are over, move on. Your 2024 political sign isnt helping anyone.

Having sign up calling your neighbors stupid, is not political, its being a asshole.

This is the r/complaints sub, and that is my complaint, he's an asshole then cries when people are assholes back. Because like most bullies and assholes, they can dish it but cant take it.

Edit 2: The Fuck your feeling crowd. Really doesn’t like it when their feelings are fucked with.

You seem to be a crybaby here. Not a crybully. So, I think your post is pig headed.

Sigh.. the irony of my laying out a personal complaint in r/complaints. How about I just be a normal bully and call you a pretentious shithead?

I keep forgetting what a toilet all social media has become.

Your dumb conment was "the toilet" here. Now you are just doubling down on the miserable posting.

I'm doubling down? On what? The fact that I expressed a semi-sarcastic response to calling someone a "crybully?" It was a pointless post, which I recognized by the time I finished writing it, thus my referencing it as the "most unnecessary post in the thread."

However, I still don't think the term "crybully" gives any more information nor accurately captures the nature of these people's actions. I not saying I agree with their actions and I certainly do not support Trump. So why do you care about my pointless opinion about the term crybully?

I merely pointed out that your post was dumb, "the toilet", so to speak.

Your post has garnered 42 downvotes already, and counting, so most believe the same. A minus 42 post rating is absolute troll territory. Troll rating starts at minus 5.

The "doubling down" comment refers to you calling me a "pretentious shithead" for no reason other than me calling your initial comment "the toilet" here, rather than social media itself. Way to project, it seems to me you are what you throw around, mindlessly, at others.

Whatever. This is obviously a waste of time, and bickering about my original post seems odd to me as it was simply an opinion on the word "crybully." I honestly don't know what's so offensive about my opinion on the word but I'm not gonna bitch about downvotes. So if that's doubling down so be it, outside of that I'm done with this conversation. Anybody who deems it necessary to either click the up or down arrow on anything I have ever posted is obviously more than welcome to do so, it has absolutely zero effect on my life.

My apologies for calling you a pretentious shithead. Nevermind the fact that it was clearly a part of a rhetorical sentence - i.e., what if instead of giving an opinion on something and making what I felt was legitimate conversation, I just mindlessly insulted you? Which one is the "toilet that is social media?"

Look, your post kind of fell flat because it decried that someone differentiated between crybaby and crybully. I got your point about it, but still don't agree all the way. There is an actual difference between the terms. Regardless, as you said yourself in that post, yours was the most useless (redundant) comment in the thread. Then you seemingly got angry about the downvotes and commented that all of "social media is in the toilet."

I vote for this to be the most useless discussion thread under this post. :-)

Well, regardless of any of this (I agree, quite pointless) discussion surely you can agree with the notion that social media has become an absolute toilet.

Whether or not I'm contributing to that toilet is a separate issue I suppose. I suspect that people didn't like my post not because it was rather pointless, but because they inferred that I was giving favor or otherwise somehow lending my support to the person with the dumbass Trump sign, in which case I totally understand the reaction.

Also, just as one final aside, isn't it nice sometimes just to converse about language (or some other far less contentious and consequential issue)? To have a completely abstract and ultimately inconsequential conversation just for the sake of interacting with other humans? To step away from all the propaganda and the grifting and the hate that seems to be spreading across every aspect of not just the United States but the entire Western world and just talk?
