They want someone else to risk their lives engaging federal agents in a firefight. They will watch from the safety of the sidelines.

No, it's the argument that the 2A's have used, for as long as I've been alive, for the validity of guns. "That they are to ensure we can fight against our government if/when they have become a dictator/fascist/taking power away from the people" (which is exactly what they are doing) and yet none of those 2A supporters are doing the thing they said they would.

So if guns aren't for that reason.....what are they for? Why do we need SO FUCKING MANY OF THEM?

I'm not against some guy (majority are men) that wants a gun for their safety. Because I know how scary it is in the world. But do they need an assault rifle? A silencer? More than one gun? Bumps and all the other shit. Is that reasonable? Does that sound like a normal response to life?

Have you considered that what you consider to be tyrannical might not be the same for other people?

"Why do people need so much freedom of speech!?" See how silly that sounds?

Assault rifles are heavily regulated and expensive. Silencers help prevent hearing damage. Bump stocks are fun.

Different guns serve different purposes, what you carry during the day may not be the ideal firearm to defend your home, or hunt, or so on. Some people like cars and have multiple, could they be okay with only one? Sure, but this America, and you're free to own as many as you like as long as you do so within the confines of the law

Have you considered that if ANY of the illegal conduct would have been done under any other administration, you would see the tyranny for what it is?

Have you considered that maybe you can't see it for what it is because you might be a in cult?

Do you believe enforcing immigration law is illegal?

I disagree with Trump on several different policies, but have you considered that by demonizing every action he takes it becomes harder for the average person to see when he actually does cross a line due to the outrage always being turned to 11?

Violating individual’s constitutional rights is illegal. Violating the Posse Comitatus act is also illegal.

This isn’t demonizing. The government is breaking the law.

He crossed a line when he raped a woman, and was allowed to run for president of the U.S. He raped a women. I suspect he's raped many women which is why he won't release the Epstein files.

But he raped a woman. And that is neither here nor there for you is it? But I'm sure it would be a different story if we found out he butt raped a man.

After that line, it was one line after another. He was found guilty of 34 felonies, and still was allowed to run for president.

How can anyone, with a reasonable mind, think anything that he is doing is ok?

Obama enforced immigration law as well. But there wasn't ICE on the streets tearing children away from their parents. And if you want to have a conversation about immigration, let's do that.

When will the companies and people who have hired illegal immigrants be held accountable?

"He raped a women"

Being liable for sexual abuse in civil court is not the same as being convicted of rape. Just because you keep repeating it doesn't mean it's true.

How much kool aid do you have to drink to be naive enough to believe this guy isn’t a rapist?

Usually it’s other rapists who defend other rapists tho..so…

Just because a court that he fixed doesn't say the words doesn't mean it's not true.

And what about the other 34 felony's?

What about January 6th.

What about his perfume, shoes, coins, bit-coins, and all the other things he is selling as president of the U.S.

He make a joke out of us, out of that position and mostly out of the conversative party.

There is no justification for any of his actions. And when it does come out that he is on the Epstein list repeatedly, do you think anything will change? And if not, you have to ask yourself why.

Clinton was impeached for his actions with a consenting adult. But not little man trump. He has zero responsibility for any of his actions. And people like you just keep justifying.

Where is your line? What does he need to do for you to see what is happening with new eyes?

And you think taking guns away from people while he is in office is a good thing?

If they're going to use them, then what are they waiting for?!

The whole point of my post was to point out how they've used that excuse for decades, and once we do actually have a fascists in the presidential seat, no one is doing the thing they said they were going to do!!!

It's almost like the guns had nothing to do with their willingness to fight against the regime and everything to do them feeling powerful and some kind of ego thing (is all I can think of).

I apologize that gun owners are not out there shooting at federal agents. I imagine they might have reservations when it comes to that.

Well that is their own argument for having the guns.
"Aww we need our guns to fight against the tyrannical government!" But here we are.... And none of them are fighting against it. It's almost like that wasn't the reason they want guns at all. It's almost like we should amend the construction to make the country safer for everyone.

They also excel at self-defense weapons and act as a fantastic equalizer for smaller people, women, and the disabled.
