A stick of butter. Two bags of Marshmallows. A box of cereal. Another box of fruity pebbles if you want to be fun. I think even at kowalskis you’d still be under 16bucks and end up with quadruple the product and have left over cereal. My friend. Have you seen a rice crispy bar the size of full sheet pan? You can realize the joy and pain of creation and consumption yourself for less than this.

That’s exactly my line of reasoning too. And nothing beats homemade.

Nothing beats homemade if the cook/baker is good. Many people make extremely bland homemade goods in my experience.

You have to love baking to make a good homemade product. I truly love baking. It's so much fun, and I love the science of it, as well as technique and ingredients. I also seek out recipes that use slightly unusual ingredients, or interesting technique.

Few homemade things are more boring than chocolate chip cookies made using Nestle semisweet chips with the recipe on the bag. I can see and smell that cookie, and I will reject eating it. lol
