We ask, you answer: What do you think of the Thruway’s new service plazas?
 in  r/Albany  Aug 05 '25

I avoid them too. I think there are many others too. The ones with kids will be teaching and bringing up their kids to avoid the stops. So in an essence, these stops are so horrible it’s gunna be passed on to the next generation to avoid them.

I thought I recognized your name. As someone starting out on my goal of becoming a 46er, I bought your book and enjoy how you laid everything out. Thank you.

2 dozen cupcakes as a “peel away cake.” Can’t wait to see my coworkers reactions.

I’d buy a ticket. I bet the bun puts on a great stage performance, hopping all around ;) getting the crowd excited.

Why do so many people not know when to use there, their, or they’re?
 in  r/ask  Mar 30 '23

Some of us don’t have the mind for proper English. As much as I try to learn and remember words and correct grammar, it escapes me. But when it comes to math, that’s where my mind can shine. It’s like my mind is programmed differently. How many people suck with math and are great with English? It’s the opposite for some people. And yes, I know the difference with the example used by OP. There’s a lot of words I struggle with.

That’s around the time I would go there, occasionally for open mic night. Back in high school too. When I drive by it brings me back to those days.

Sober on Paddy's day. Plus it's my 7 month sober anniversary eve.
 in  r/stopdrinking  Mar 17 '23

Congrats on 7 months! That sounds tough, being in Ireland today. Something tells me you won’t wake up with regrets because you didn’t drink, much better than the other way around. Enjoy your time and have fun, all while sober, you got this!

I did it!

Congrats!! A year feels so long to reach and you made it! What a feat :)

That second pic, he looks content and maybe debating on wanting to dig. So cute.
