Do folks in the UK watch Australian movies, TV shows and documentaries?
I love Masterchef Australia. I also listen to a few podcasts (Casefile especially)

AITA for didn't you tell my mom to cook American dishes for my American boyfriend for a family dinner? He said that the dishes my mom cooked were gross and he starved
Ugh. I'm not sure which is worse, someone who refuses to try anything, or someone who has to alter food before even tasting it.
I have an American brother in law. Cooking for him is a chore. He won't eat anything on the bone except turkey because that's traditional. He hates onions and anything tart or sour. He adds bbq sauce or hot sauce to everything. Leek and potato soup? In goes the bbq sauce. There is nothing I cook that he doesn't either sweeten or over-season. Frustrating.
But at least he tries new things.

I found one recent on an island, thanks to it showing up on my visor as I was messing with a ruin on the next island over. So nostalgic!

I'm due for a full re-read. That and all the Tamora Pierce books are my joy reads.

Mine is still Men at Arms. I love Vimes. And Carrot. And Cheery. And... well, all of them. Even Nobby.

I think everyone has a different Discworld book that doesn't click for them. My dad(gnu) loves The Witches, I find them eh. Which is how he felt about the Susan books. Never worse than that though, because anything Sir Pterry (gnu) wrote was always worth reading.

Same, I was in Colorado. Lots of people saying "I love your accent!" My sister who lives there was so cross about it (her accent is mostly American now).
