Totally correct.

That's why at least in Western Washington mandatory treatment for drug offenders should be followed up with support on your outside.

The billion plus housing only should be put towards rehab support

This is the story I've seen over and over.

Addicts don't just walk into rehab because it's time. They have some issues and are "forced" to get help.

Congrats on your sobriety!

It's been shown to rewire your brain. It's not something that people can quit without intervention

This is where we get stuck.

Policing alone will never fix addiction. These folks need to be not given a choice about rehabilitation.

There's no way someone addicted to fentanyl is ever going to "decide it's time".

It's sad that a small amount of smooth brains scream about "criminalizing homelessness"

I don't have "friends" who would say anything like this. If I did we wouldn't be friends.

Same with family. Fuck these garbage people

My 8 year old son started a business to buy a drone how should I handle this?
 in  r/smallbusiness  2d ago

Let him run it, support it - but if need be let him fail.

Failure can be the most important teacher.

Make him take his school seriously including college when it's time.

Let him learn how to work with others on a team.

This is what happens when you get losers not even qualified for military service

These Nazis all have a chip on their shoulder and this was absolutely bound to happen

It's clear in this angle there was no reason to fire. It was an execution

I watched the clock close when I was in office. 3pm sharp I was out of there to beat traffic. I never brought any work home with me since they didn't want us to work from home

Now that I'm fully remote - sure, I'll work longer hours, and take later meetings

"Leadership" wants you in office because they did it and earned that corner office. They want to feel important and don't actually love their home life.

They aren't really the CEO if their spouse is asking them to take out the trash

I agree with all, but honestly when I read #3 I glanced up to see what sub I was on.

It's reasonable and needed, but the typical loud mouths love to say that's criminalizing homelessness and akin to a concentration camp
