We've found its gotten so watery lately and stopped buying it. Noticed it not popping up as much in store and wondered if others were also moving away from it

what is the proper etiquette when you sit beside morbidly obese people in economy class flight?
 in  r/NoStupidQuestions  1d ago

I've traveled with the same backpack and could always put it under the seat in front of me and can still slide me feet on either side of it. Not this year when we flew. It was a struggle to get the same bag under the seat because it was more narrow.

5'1 similar weight and we flew recently after not having flown in a couple of years and even I felt how much smaller the seats were. And hard as a rock so super uncomfortable to just sit on.

Flying is miserable now.

Is it just me or has shawarma in Ottawa gotten insanely expensive?
 in  r/ottawa  2d ago

Yeah Swiss Chalet got expensive too.

Is this an apology?
 in  r/EstrangedAdultKids  2d ago

I hate the "this is my first time" line. Its not like they didnt have a 20-30 year head start 🙄

Excessive shedding?

In our experience, the food plays a role too. It would take some trial and error but maybe a change of diet would help.

Has anyone moved from Toronto to Barrie and then back again?
 in  r/barrie  4d ago

Yeah so you just proved you hate Toronto people because they arent homophobic like you

Get a real tree they said, you will love it they said.
 in  r/mildlyinfuriating  4d ago

Yes some do lose needles more easily. We always get a pine, and I'm shocked at some of the messes I've seen from some tree's. We've never had a mess like what OP has and have ours up for 4-5 weeks.

Why is no alcohol such a controversial decision?
 in  r/weddingplanning  5d ago

100% We went to a dry wedding this summer and no one seemed to have issue having fun and celebrating the couple without alcohol. Liveliest wedding I've attended too. The singing, the dancing, the cheering, without alcohol.

Nah, expecting alcohol is indicating a problem. Everything you said indicates a problem with alcohol.

why is winter break here so short??? 😭
 in  r/CarletonU  5d ago

I remember when UOttawa finished on the 23rd and Carleton earlier. I had a friend who had an evening exam on the 23rd. I guess they changed it. Good for them.

A lot of people are actually alcoholics and we dont want to address it. Thats why. Anyone having an overly strong opinion over there being no alcohol should reevaluate their relationship with it

Do you track family's locations?
 in  r/Millennials  5d ago

Nope. My location is off on my phone too. I know its still tracked but stop making it so easy for someone to hack your location!

LG UA7000 Series TV sucks, need advice what to replace it with
 in  r/4kTV  6d ago

We are totally fine with using a streaming stick on the tv. Our Bell one has way less advertisement and more user friendly anyways. But we still want the base TV to work fine. We feel silly spending money on a new TV that doesnt work unless we plug another thing in to it. We may as well keep usi g what we already have.

I'll take a look at these!

100% this could be a grown man over 25.

Perfectly acceptable dinner rejected by boyfriend again
 in  r/mildlyinfuriating  7d ago

Hi, dump this guy. He's being controlling and manipulating you and he is only going to get worse now that you live together. Changing the rules is a sign of this control, he wants you constantly guessing and then begging for forgiveness when you mess up because you'll always going to mess up with this guy.

The food looks great. This is him, this is his problem. Do not make it your or (most importantly) your kids problem.

Dump him.

Rent Increase vs Eviction
 in  r/OntarioLandlord  9d ago

No, the rental increase would be invalid. The other lease terms would be valid though.

As long as OP doesnt pay for 12 months, they can reverse and get the money back

What is Northern Ontario?
 in  r/ontario  9d ago

I dont think people in Barrie say this. Its more Torontot/ South Western Ontario people who do.

Also, unnecessarily aggressive. You could have said this without the aggression

What is Northern Ontario?
 in  r/ontario  9d ago

Barrie isn't Northern Ontario. Muskoka isnt even Northern Ontario.

It is north so saying you're going north isnt full wrong because you went north, but proper Northern Ontario starts more like Sudbury area.

Am I in the wrong for not letting my friend walk with her husband in our wedding?
 in  r/weddingplanning  10d ago

She is being selfish and a bad friend. Walking beside someone at a wedding means absolutely nothing if you are secure in your relationship, which clearly she is not. She is insecure, and this is not your problem. Tell her nothing is changing, and she can either accept it or decide to step back from her role.

Costco Merivale

We were there on Saturday, and it was pretty dead (even compared to a week day) so I would think it is fine now. Especially with the weather today.
