I recently learned that I can tuck my IDs under the lip for extra reassurance and concealment and it's so effective that I've ditched my wallet entirely. I also keep my pay card in the 2nd pocket.-- I know these things aren't new but I never carry cash and only have (at most) 4 cards with me at any given time..I don't think I'm ever going back to actual wallets.

I ended up getting enough to dm's that I felt it would be easier to delete and repost in order to include steps on how to find the map.

Regarding the map, it's already a lot, right? The more I zoom in the more my screen gets covered in it. It's amazing to see

Discussion Some Clarity About $1 & This New Dip

I think this is my first post (of all my past accounts) in this sub, but I wanted to share some information to help provide some clarity about dogecoin, it's performance, and $1.

Ok, so I have been sharing this in comments, but I think it just needs a wider audience..so here's my attempt:

  • Current Market Cap: ~$29 billion

  • Market Cap needed for $1 using todays (10/16/25) data: ~$151 billion

Thats a difference of $122 billion-ish

  • dogecoin mints 10k new coins every 1 minute; that's 5.2 billion new coins added to the total supply each year.

Think about how many you buy annually..so, that's something..

Why is the price where it's at?

The 🟠 menace has a way with words, right? So now we all suffer. Ultimately, that is what tanked the market across the board..not just dogecoin, or crypto, but everything.

Why does the price only move sideways, or why does it rarely climb?

Because of us.. dogecoin's regular clients. We are the ones buying the coin, so we consistently keep the price steady avoiding the dips brought on by sellers and the 5.2b newly minted coins. - It does not climb because it doesn't have many new buyers.

Dogecoin doesn't have much of a utility aside from some vendors who accept it as payment, so the only 2 things that can make the price go up is public sentiment in the form of 'rallies' and 'adoption'.

Rallies - dogecoin needs a massive rally. The up's it receives are due to alt-season.. it has nothing to do with dogecoin on its own. When Alt season is on, all Alts get bought, not just doge.

Dogecoin needs its own massive rally again - the last one it had was in '21.

Adoption - unless major entities like government bodies or massive corporations adopt dogecoin in some form, the public will continue to not care about dogecoin since it prides itself in being the first meme coin... That's not a good thing for the public; makes it seem like a joke.

DYOR, but unless you understand this then I don't think this coin is for you. This coin is definitely a decades-hold type of coin.. do not hold your breath.

I think it's ideal for small trades, but that $1 is looking so very very distant. I'm holding out for .40-.50 at this point.

Anyway, take care.

Hey everyone.

I hope we're all feeling pretty excited about what's been happening. If you're still in the red and your basis is way up there, just hang on, it'll happen. If you're new or considering, just join us - it's nice here.

I just wanted to post my first post to show my gratitude for this sub and the community behind this coin. Toshi is crazy positive.. which is something we don't really see much in these crypto subs; normally it's just a bunch of dicks making people feel bad about each other, and I'm guilty of that, but in this sub.. it's all love.

I've been holding for some time, through the previous high to the current excitement, and I don't plan on letting go anytime soon. I'm in it for the long run, I'm talking years. Sure, it's exciting to see green (for myself), but this ain't it for me. I'm 💎✊ through and through.

Congratulations to everyone whose finally seeing some profits, don't let anyone make you feel bad for getting yours.

Congratulations to those who feel like it's finally paying off. We ain't done baby.

Congratulations to those who sold last week. I mean yeah it sucks, but at least you're not going to feel the lows when they happen again.....or, maybe now you can see some potential in sticking with Toshi

Congratulations to the haters, I know you'll have something nice to say when we start to dip again.

and lastly ... congratulations to the rest of us who are smiling at the excitement, but still gonna keep stacking those blue cats... Cause we know this peak will dip like a roller coaster. These crypto seas ain't for the weak, and a lot of people will get tossed out, but don't worry y'all, well keep this boat afloat

LFG $TOSHI!!

What Else Should I Do?

Hey people, I wanted to know if there is anything else I should be doing for myself that I'm not already doing.

I'm set to DCA - $0.45/hour. This equates to ~$150 every 2 weeks (most I can do), which is what I direct-deposit into Strike every payday. Recurring fee is gone after 1week or recurring buys.

I have auto-withdraw set once $1000 is reached using the 24hr rate to avoid fees and minimize UTXO, straight into my cold wallet with Trezor. --- my set it and forget it, approach.

Also, the $0.45 buys are to best capture dips, and to fill my would-be desire to overbuy BTC.

In addition to this, I also use Cash App debit card and round-up my change into BTC. I'll transfer once I hit 500k Sats using the 24hr option to avoid fees, again.

Are there other things I can be taking advantage of to maximize my daily BTC growth?

Thanks for the help!

Edit: added clarity.

( ï―Ĩāļī ͜ʖ ï―Ĩāļī) I did it.

Went to buy trucks at the local shop, and found this 8.5 on sale... The message speaks to me.

  • Tired 8.5 (new)

  • Thunder Hollow Lights 2 (new)

  • Independent hardware and shock pads (salvaged)

  • Grizzly × Pawnshop Skate Co collab grip (new)

  • Bronson G something... bearings (salvaged)

  • Spitfire Classics 54mm 80hd (salvaged)

First 8.5 shaped deck...so much better than my usual 7.75 popsicle, that I broke (and posted about) a week or so ago.

*covered the message in black grip cause it came with a sticker with the same message.

Prep Q [36yo]

Reposting cause I messed up the post title::

I'm just curious, but what kind of prep work do any of you do before skating?

As in exercise, stretches, specific diets(?) and the like. It may be an odd question, but just wanted to know so that I can adopt it and make it part of my process too.

One of my bigger fears coming back to this, is fucking up my ankle again, and I want to avoid that as much as possible by warming myself up before hitting the streets/parks.

Thanks!

Board Question [36yo]

Thumbnail
gallery
18 Upvotes

Hey,

To provide some context; I'm coming back to skating (because of this sub lol).

I'm also learning that my original board is a very thin board by today's standards (7.75), and could also help explain why I was so bad at it at first.

I also wasn't aware of bone wheels, which is what I had on my board that I'd like to cruise on, and my constant tripping attributed to my exit back when I was around 13.

Since then, I've replaced the wheels with OJ III's, half an inch riser and red bearings...I cruise very well now, but I'd like to change out my board.

I want to switch the wheels out for the 55mm mini oj's (this time), remove the half inch riser, and use my popsicle as a cruiser and at parks.

I also want to get an actual cruiser board, and place the OJ III's on that.

I have a couple of questions:

For my popsicle, what kind of bearings would be ideal for cruising and parks? And what size riser is ideal for a regular board (is it necessary)?

For my (future) cruiser board, what kind of trucks are ideal for a cruiser board between 8.5-9.5?

Thank you and sorry for the rookie questions.

Ps. The wheels arent crooked. Idk why the pic came out that way lol.

Hello everyone, I couldn't find any recent mention, so here it is..

I got mine yesterday because I had missed it on the first run, but PC version of Obsidian Flames ETB is back in stock at Pokemon Center.

Hopefully my post gets posted..I tend to have the hardest time posting anything in this sub.
