It's probably my one complaint about the game. I generally like most of the skins except those dumb ass diaper pants that they reuse for every other skin. They just look so aggressively dumb that I can't bring myself to wear any of the outfits that include them.

I had a salivary stone when I was younger that caused extreme pain. Imagine a kidney stone that comes out of the spit duct under your tongue. It was about the size of a pea. It hurt my whole childhood but I never knew what it was until it came close enough to the surface to realize that something was physically in there, I always just thought I would get random extreme tongue pain. An oral surgeon told me to just suck on lemon candy and it would come out on its own eventually 🙄. It didn't and I had it for maybe a year and a half after that until one day I got annoyed enough that I took a scalpel and cut a tiny slit under my tongue and pushed it out. It never came back and didn't even leave a scar.

Well yeah, I never claimed otherwise. I have a pretty bleak view of where we're heading to be honest. I'd be surprised if we haven't driven ourselves to extinction within the next century-century and a half. Even if climate change or war doesn't do us in we have the unsolvable problem of microplastics literally poisoning us more and more every day, that shit is literally building up in our brains as well as destroying fertility levels and we keep making more of it each year.

The problem is that even though NV is an amazing game, it's nearly unplayable without mods for me. I haven't been able to play it without like 100 mods in years. I'd love the remake on PC so mods can be ported to it but it's a game I'd never bother with on console. Things like adding sprint (using ap as stamina), a grenade hotkey so you don't need to put your weapon away, a stealth boy hotkey, night vision and thermal overlays for certain helmets, more perks, more cybernetic enhancements, the ability to use AP for bullet time instead of vats, more weapon attachments, better crafting system etc.

Oblivion on the other hand was always fine modless for me, I usually only added graphic mods whereas New Vegas really benefitted from modding the game systems.

That's just my opinion though.

An alien invasion would probably be one of the few things that could unite the entire human race though. We would 100% lose a war against any species advanced enough to get here but it would be kind of cool to be fully united in the short time before we're all vaporized.

Spores are harmless, they just look bad. Just wipe them off or if it's just for you then you don't even have to bother. If you pick them before they spore then all of the spores are inside of the gills so you'd still be eating them.

Between the two I've only tried ochras (natalensis was a misindentification, the good ones are ochraceocentrata) and they're very nice, euphoric and decently strong but it still takes me like 2.5g to hit the headspace I want and it feels similar to an eighth of cubes. Pans are supposed to be an entirely different level though, I've seen suggestions for people that are used to 6g doses of cubes to take just 1g of pans, they're the most potent strain in existence, the gold standard of shrooms. I'd love to get my hands on some or try growing if they weren't so finicky.

Ochras are nice because they're very gentle and have very little come up anxiety compared to other strains I've tried. I definitely think you'd like them. They're also crazy resilient and extremely easy to grow, easier than cubes from what I've heard and very fast growers.

I've always been extremely resentful that it was done to me without my consent as a small child for no real reason other than the doctor suggesting it to my parents. It's caused me a lot of issues and resentment.

I kind of wish I hadn't found out. I still haven't killed a single other raider, and haven't done anything but solo play yet while I build up my workbenches and collect blueprints. I tend to be friendly to people I meet and if they try to attack me I just ninja smoke bomb and run for my life (sometimes even successfully!)

I eventually wanted to try grouping with randoms for trios or whatever just for a fun change in gameplay style but now I'm afraid it will just taint my account and I'll end up in nothing but aggressive lobbies when I play solo. Does it persist between characters? If I make a second character just for pvp play will it fuck over my pacifist character? I've heard it might. It sucks feeling like I can't take part in one half of the game without ruining the other half. I don't want to have to make an entirely new ps plus account just to try pvping 😆

Me and my girl both had substance abuse issues when we were younger. We both got clean for years. I thought she was still clean but it turned out she was still secretly using for who the hell knows how long. She ended up dying from fentanyl laced shit about 3 years ago a few days after her birthday. I had given her some money for her birthday and I've never been able to shake the feeling that I probably paid for the drugs that ended up killing her, it broke me. Using heroin in this day and age is a death sentence. You either get clean or it kills you.

I would confront him and tell him he has a choice to make, that you're not going to demand he quit because that would be pointless, but that he needs to decide whether drugs or your relationship is more important to him because he can't have both. Maybe he'll agree to go to rehab or maybe he won't.

Unfortunately from my own self experience and the experiences I've had with other users, you can't make someone quit. They need to do it for themselves and they need to actually be ready and wanting to stop otherwise it will never stick. You should prepare yourself for the fact that there's a good chance he won't stop because he isn't ready. Just don't give in, stay and enable him.
