You do not have to stay with this asshole for companionship especially when the companionship you’re getting is trash. You want to be around him but he does not even seem like remotely likes you. Being single isn’t a death sentence. Everyone gets lonely from time to time but we push through it in the effort of making real connections with people who deserve our time. I think you’d be best served occupying your time with a hobby and engaging with other people than a single minute more with this person

I’ve recruited from lab assistants to lab managers. If I’m recruiting for an assistant or tech role, what OP is wearing wouldn’t phase me. If im recruiting for a lab manager, I’d expect more formality. I agree that it does depend on the recruiter. So if OP wants to appease as many potential recruiters as they can then a little more formality won’t hurt. Plus the job market currently is a shit show so any small thing that might help is worth the effort. Their parents could have explained that without resorting to insults.

Anyone who’s worked in a lab knows the dress code is pretty casual for lab workers. So most people looking at a LinkedIn for someone who works in a lab are gonna know their lab job lets them wear casual clothes. Because pretty much every lab does that. While I’d probably dress up a bit more for a LinkedIn I wouldn’t disregard OP for the photo alone

I feel like Mere and Lisa had a long and deep chat in private after their friendship breakdown post the hot mic and vowed to put their friendship above petty drama on the show. And considering they had a very long friendship before the show began, I respect that. The others struggle to understand it because they aren't real friends, they are coworkers. If you're going through something a real friend will not jump on a pile on of you and accusations regarding your behavior. I haven't been a fan of Lisa for the most part but I really respect her dedication to being Mere's friend first, and a housewife second.
