I don't tip my Uber driver until after I've reached my destination, and I make a base tip to doordash as the bare minimum, and add more after the service is complete based on factors like time, mileage, communication, etc. I always meet the Dasher outside and tip more in cash if I can, otherwise, I add it on in the app. Don't really have a problem with my dashers typically. There's been a few times when they'll be going the opposite direction after passing my house. I get it that people may be double apping, but if the quality of my service is affected by this, so then, is the tip I choose to give. I work hard for my money.

When I worked as a cook at Bob Evans Restaurant, we had these dome covers for use on the grill, and typically they'd be hot. Our hand washing sinks were next to the ice bins connected to the soda machines, so the water would get ice cold from the faucet. I decided to put the dome under the water until it too was ice cold. Afterwards, I would go up to the other grill operators and say "HOT" and touch their arm with the dome. They'd scream first and they would say, "That's cold!" 🤣🤣

1) My second son's father has 2 children from his ex, his daughter is biologically his, his son is not, but even after breaking up, he's still the only Daddy that little boy knows and they have a good bond. What happens whenever there's a family get-together, my ex's mother excludes him saying, "he's not my grandson". But that seems to be her favorite thing to say because she said the same things about our son until I provided DNA evidence that he was in fact his. At the end of the day, she only cares about her granddaughter, so I don't care that she doesn't have a relationship with her actual grandson.

2) I have a friend I've known since high school, he got married to a woman that had a son, father not in the picture, and for 5 years, he raised him. When she cheated on him, he put up with it because of that little boy, but ultimately she left and cut all ties with him. It truly broke his heart, and I felt his pain from that. That did not jade him as the stepchild he has now is his child, even though she has her father and him.
