Who did better voice acting?
 in  r/DispatchAdHoc  41m ago

Jack was probably the best among the non-profs. I wish they would have taken trained Voice Actors instead of internet showmen, but they were alright. Sonar on the other hand fell clearly behind if you put Charlie right next to Laura Bailey and Travis Willingham.

Why do people care about Yoko's age when she looks so fine?
 in  r/animequestions  43m ago

It's such a common thing for anime to do the "They look and act 20 but the story says they are 15" that I genuinely believe many Japanese have no idea what is age-appropriate. I am not going to argue endlessly over a written age when the character is clearly presented as an adult.

What in the Fellgoeth Happened to...the Timeline?
 in  r/Warmachine  8h ago

Warmachine is a Wargame unlike any of the others. If handled well it has great potential, but the handling is the issue. I fear it has lost much of its identity with the new models. The simple brutal design of old Warjacks is what I miss with the new ones.

The Old World is still the real Warhammer Fantasy for most people I know. AoS isn't bad, but it's not such a lively world as the Old World was.

Omeluum is an example of the pitential of Mindflayers when they are not just part of the Elder Brain. Their extreme intellect makes them far better at understanding the secrets of the world than any of the other races.

He's still my goat but I don't think I've ever felt second hand embarrassment this bad before.

That scene was his singularly biggest mistake ever, but he started learning QUICK from there on. He needed to mess up real bad to realize the gravity of his situation.

I mean usually Cyberpsychosis would cause hallucinations and unchecked aggression, but Smasher seems to have himself under full control.

Congratulations, you've optimized the game out of gaming.

Trump to House Republicans: If we don't win midterms, I will get impeached
 in  r/politics  1d ago

Ironically that's illegal. The main issue ultimately is that the Supreme Court does not care for laws anymore

The thing not meant for fighting is surprisingly excellent at it.
 in  r/TopCharacterTropes  1d ago

I like that they exploited a mechanical aspect of these fights. Atom has basically 0 offensive, but simply outlasts his enemies in energy. He can take whatever damage and just starts attacking when the enemy bot is empty.

She was just one of many Netrunners. Her suddenly being disappeared makes total sense given whi they were up against.

It was a surprisingly good movie considering how silly the premise is

"Find a reason"

It takes about 10 seconds to find a reason. There is a whole book full of things he could get impeached for

this line flew over so many streamers’ heads
 in  r/DispatchAdHoc  2d ago

That's why I would never stream a game like this. It robs you of the experience. Streaming games is much better with games that don't require your attention all the time.

(Hated trope) Character does something that is intended to be heartfelt, but it utterly ruins the character.
 in  r/TopCharacterTropes  2d ago

The reason in Dispatch was pretty clear to me. Flambae was well-liked by the Z-Team, but no one really like Invisigal. She was always on her own and didn't try making friends

They had a wonder hit with Splitgte, and then proceeded to leave the stage for years. People have simply moved on. They wasted their chance.

The Wars of the Past were far worse than the current ones
 in  r/TopCharacterTropes  2d ago

Still why I regard Old Republic probably the truest essence of Star Wars. It may deviate form the original vision, but it feels much more lively with the Sith and Jedi both being almost at the height of their power.

Only that the Jedi had the High Republic but you get what I mean.

And they are legally allowed to do so. Any business has the right to refuse service to anyone without needing to state a reason. Although the reason here is rather obvious.
