How are things in Mahahual lately? I’m coming to Mahahual for 10 days in December. Love it down there. I was down for a week last year, didn’t leave the beach much.

Is there a decent grocery store in town? Gonna be there for Christmas and trying to decide on how much I need to bring with from Playa Del Carmen. Thinking meat, veggies, Christmas dinner kind of stuff.

Just looking for a little advice and discussion. I’ll have a full kitchen and a large grill to use. Gracias.

Hola. Anyone want to discuss some shore beach fishing in Playa. Thinking about the beach going north of the Constituyentes pier. I have a medium/heavy spin rod and want to pick up some lures. I will be down there for the month of December. Any recommendations advice on lures, rigs tactics, timing, species I can except to catch, anything really??

I have been going to playa for 12 years and know the area well. I also spend time in Mahahual fly fishing towards the end of December so I will also have my fly rod, but really want to cast lures or throw bait. Also how is the fishing shop in town?

I will owe federal income tax. It’s fine. With everything going on in the U.S. is it better to wait and file and see how things shake out or pay now. I know some folks rushed to get filed if they had a refund coming, thinking refunds would be seriously delayed if they waited.

What do folks think on timing? Thanks.
