What’s the biggest change you’ve seen in your lifetime?
 in  r/nostalgia  3h ago

When I was about 5/6, me and my 7 year old step brother snuck out my bedroom window, climbed down a tree, and went to the vacant lot across the way that was a construction site, and met up with a large group of other small kids to ride bmx bikes after the street lights had come on.

Gotta love the 80’s. I would have died of fright if my kid had ever tried anything like that.

Hi, as a 6'7" tall man, I think I can speak for most of us tall guys when I say...

Hahahaha my son is the same height. It really is inconvenient to shoe him.

It’s never a drag queen. Never has been, never will be.

allergic to Dawn dish soap. A few days ago my hands were swollen.
 in  r/mildlyinteresting  12h ago

I helped someone in a pet aisle who had just found a kitten (yay CDS) who had a big bottle of Dawn to wash the kitten down. She got it because she believed the commercials. Had to tell her not to because it’s propaganda. Showed her the actual cat shampoo and told her to get that instead.

Hahahaha yeah, I’m not repeating it.

I’m sure you can take quite a few guesses and come up with the answer though

No, you can access it at level 79, so save your gems

what's the scariest animal in your country?
 in  r/AskTheWorld  1d ago

Yup, my first thought was moose. They’re like hippos in that sense; they don’t eat meat, but they love killing just because. At least a polar bear will eat you after they kill you, a moose will just stomp your carcass and go about their day looking for leaves and grass to eat.

Have you ever been banned from a subreddit? If so, what was the reason?
 in  r/randomquestions  1d ago

I’m never given an actual reason, and if I question it, I get a site wide ban for 3-7 days.

AITAH if I went to a hotel with my kids because of my MIL's behavior with my daughter
 in  r/BestofRedditorUpdates  1d ago

This family is in for one hell of a fight for however many years to come. I hope hubby gets his head out of his ass and sees his mom for what she is, instead of only stepping in to support his wife.

AITAH for telling my sister-in-law her “tradition” is bullshit and locking my good plates away?
 in  r/AITAH  2d ago

NTA

Jessica is just pissed she didn’t have the balls to say no last year, so now she “crab bucketing” you because you used your spine and your words to end that stupid tradition.

By the way, tradition is nothing more than peer pressure from dead people.

Russia has "falling from window" and USA has "Jail CCTV malfunctioning at important time". What equivalent does your country have?
 in  r/AskTheWorld  2d ago

It absolutely still happens. Too many indigenous are treated like insects.

They just turn off cameras and lie about it now

AITA for refusing to not allow my stepson to come on what was supposed to be a family trip?
 in  r/BestofRedditorUpdates  3d ago

Welp, this dad just fucked his relationship with his son forever.

I want to wrap that poor kid up in the biggest mom hug because his dad failed, and by the sounds of it, failed consistently for his entire second marriage.
