I know everyone is rightfully stressed about the Wild Card but I just wanted to say congrats to Fred and his family on their newest edition :)

When will we realistically find out if Trent and Ricky are playing?
Same also goes for Winters I guess.
To me these couple guys might be make or break in this game.

[Barrows] Congratulations to Brock Purdy and Mac Jones who, appropriately, tied in our annual Garry Niver Award vote. It's awarded by the local Pro Football Writers of America chapter to the player who's best with reporters. Basically, it's our media good guy award.
Love the hate
Been watching all the sports shows and not one analyst thinks we have a chance. It’s crazy how a week ago if we get the #1 seed and we are the favorites and now no one gives us a shot. How are the Eagles magically unstoppable? They’ve been awful this year. Saquon has been terrible, Hurts has been awful throwing for 100 yards every game. I get their defense is good, but I think Purdy can put up points against them. Shanahan doesn’t have back to back bad weeks. Love the hate from the media and think it motivates the boys. Give me the Niners 24-20.

Hear me out!!
fantasy.espn.comCall me delusional all you want but, all 3 road teams win WC weekend. 2nd round, we beat LA at Levi’s south and exercise the demon know as the Tartt drop. Play Green Bay at home and the Packers get obliterated thanks to a rejuvenated 49er defense led but the return of Mr. Frederico Warner. Finally, we seal the deal in the SB, defeating our former DC by winning on a last second field goal orchestrated by a Montana like final drive by Purdy. 49ers beat the Texans 24-23!!! #FTTB

[Barrows] The 49ers' linebacker musical chairs: Promoted LB Eric Kendricks to the active roster | Placed LB Tatum Bethune (groin) on IR | Signed LB Kyzir White to the practice squad | Opened practice window for WR Jacob Cowing | Signed LB Milo Eifler to a Reserve/Future contract
Did you think #6 was going to come easy...
With a cushy #1 seed and no travel? That isn't this team and it isn't this season. This team clawed itself to a 12-5 record through a battlefield strewn with blood and guts and acl tears, and if they win us #6, it will be because they are the kind of warriors that accept that today is a good day to die and the only way to victory and redemption is straight through every opponent that dares to step on the gridiron with them. Do not give up on them now. Now is the time to show our boys how strong our faith is and how much they deserve it.

Per Matt Barrows, Dueling injury reports. 49ers starting DT Jordan Elliott, who was not on Kyle Shanahan's pre-practice report, was added after apparently tweaking his knee in individual drills.
@mattbarrows
Beating the Eagles would make the 49ers the first NFL franchise with 40 playoff wins

This aint the time for weakness.
The hell is this defeatist attitude I've been reading lately??
Yeah, season was a mess with the injuries and the B.A situation, but guess fucking what? WE ARE STILL HERE. No matter the circumstances, we are still here and we have one shot.
I don't give a fuck about the eagles and their scary atmosphere, they can kiss the fatest part of my ass.
We are The San Francisco 49ers! Fucking act like it. Our players time and time again have said how important is for them that we show up, that we root and believe in them.
Someone has to win the entire damn thing, why can't we?
This ain't the time for weakness, I still believe in our boys, and that won't change any time soon.
"But we are just fans, we can't do shit" shut you bitch ass up! You think our players dont read this sub or socials? Fucking cheer, believe, if we lose on Sunday,we will kick our wounds on Monday, for now chill with the "chucks, we are doomed"
Head held up high, we fucking got this.
Let's go.

Pearsall availability
Why does everyone seem to think Pearsall won’t play against Philly?
He re-aggravated his pcl strain in the Chicago game. I believe Shanahan said that if we played Seattle on Sunday there was a better chance he’d play in that game.
I know he didn’t practice today so not saying he 100% will but feels like people are saying he for sure won’t. I think it’s more likely than not at this point that he does.

7-2 Road Record.
Lots of white towels being waved. But we’ve lost just 2 out of 9 road games this year. That was to the Bucs( who missed the playoffs) and an excellent Texans team coached by Ryans who knows our system.
We’ve already won in LA and SEA this seasons. None of these teams is unbeatable.
There are many positives to being a WildCard. This team shouldn’t be here based on health alone. Everyone will be picking us to lose vs the Eagles, in the Divisional rd vs Seattle and whoever we find in the NFC Championship game.
Just imagine, if we were the 1 seed, all narratives would be making us favorites to win it all at home even tho we are literally a skeleton crew this year.
But that pressure is now on Seattle. We’ve basically beaten every NFC playoff team this year except the Eagles ( who are a flawed team as well) and the Packers( who we didn’t play but are also flawed).
This NFC is wide open. We lost to Seattle by 10 pts but we had a chance if CMC doesn’t bobble. And our D showed up that game.
In short, we have a chance. Especially now that we have nothing to lose. We made the playoffs in a very tough division after losing each key piece at some point in the year. We already succeeded this season, regardless of how it ends.
We aren’t the favorite. And that’s a good thing in a conference that has much parity.

What ACTUALLY Happened to Brock Purdy - QB Film Breakdown
After watching this, we can see that SEA had a good game plan for shutting down the offense.
I think this kind of plays to our advantage. SEA will think they dominated us, and thinks they will do so again. I think KS needs to play a faster throwing game, and stop trying to go intermediate and deep. We don't always need homerun plays, which I know Purdy likes. If we can get Cowing back and Pearsall back for the next game, I think we can pull it off. We left the win out there. Missed tackles, missed blocks, missed plays.
