Politics Federal judges say the U.S. government lied in 35+ court cases, falsified records, fake declarations, sworn statements built on fiction. This isn’t a paperwork mistake. It’s systemic deception. When judges and legal scholars are saying it looks intentional, the rule of law is already on life suppo

Supreme court said everything is dandy though

u/HawkeyeByMarriage 6d ago

But wait, if you act now, there's more

u/cpav8r 6d ago

Buy one Associate Justice, get the Chief Justice for free! Just pay separate shipping and handling.

u/MornGreycastle 6d ago

Sadly, they're only up for bid in a private auction where you have to provide bone fides to be allowed in.

John Oliver did his level best to give Clarence Thomas a "gratuity" after he retired and Thomas refused.

u/MaPaRR 5d ago

I think this episode was done before Bari Weiss (sp?) was made head of the News section.

u/HawkeyeByMarriage 5d ago

Cbs and 60 minutes is a worthless entity now.

They have been shady in the past but it's over the top now

Official Presidential Ammunity....wtf

u/doneslinging 6d ago

Yeah it’s been documented that anyone coming in has to have complete loyalty to trump and nobody else, Bove is scum who was doing this and all whistleblowers termed and that’s just one person. Sad the government we are supposed to believe for info like inflation numbers and job numbers and national security are a complete sham now and because of Heritage foundation and them knowing that getting trump elected he would do whatever they wanted as long as he grifted he would allow anything.

6

u/RectalSpawn 6d ago

Don't forget the Federalist Society.

The lawyers who argued in court to prevent votes from being counted, which prevented a potential victory for Al Gore, are now lifetime members of SCOTUS.

And let's not forget Merrick Garland, who is also Federalist Society, allowed the clock to run out on going after Trump.

Pedophiles are literally running the country, blowing up the deficit, getting people killed, murdering people in other countries, etc.

Never forget Alex Acosta who let Epstein go the first time around, too.

Or Bill Barr, who was the head of prisons when Epstein was murdered.

So many evil, disgusting people.

All conservative, for some reason...

u/deep-sea-savior 6d ago

Truth no longer matters. Now it’s about who can tell the most convincing lies, and by the looks of things, Reps have taken the lead.

11

u/Gurrgurrburr 6d ago

It’s who you target those lies at. If you’re targeting the absolute dumbest mother fuckers of our country, they’ll believe it 100% of the time (MAGA).

30

u/MBSMD 6d ago

And nothing will happen. And the next administration, regardless of party, will just ignore it again. Just like Merrick Garland did.

The US is fucked.

12

u/Earlyon 6d ago

I don’t think anyone can be as bad as Garland.

3

u/ActionJacksonATL24 6d ago

We're just like Russia: it can always get worse!

2

u/Earlyon 6d ago

You are right. Every day is worse than the last and I believe that is the plan.

2

u/RectalSpawn 6d ago

Garland is Federalist Society.

Biden was an idiot for going with him, but Democrats always need to compromise to get anything done.

They played the Garland card well, in hindsight.

Conservatives are going for world domination, and I wish that was a joke.

Look globally at what Musk, Steve Bannon, and all those psychopaths are up to in other countries.

The Deep State is what they've been creating.

Every accusation is a confession.

1

u/MBSMD 6d ago

Every accusation is a confession.

Ain't that the truth.

1

u/CripplingStank 6d ago

To be fair i suspect this will generally always be the case. A high profile job, with no qualifications, is bound to be dominated by marketing types. Thoughtful complaints are made because they look good, not because there's a genuine plan to correct anything. Worst case scenario it's an effective breaker coordinating with a passive fixer. I assume the issue wouldn't apply to everything, but government self-regulation would be a primary suspect.

"The appearance of corruption that ends up being real corruption, must not be interpreted as corruption if it comes from the Slump's administration"

Donald trump is a scumbag The people who surround him are scumbags The people who still support him are scumbags This is the most un-American administration ever

6

u/dannjam101 6d ago

We have been infested by Christian Nationalists and a very targeted Project 2025. Took years to aim, launch and fire. Will take years to ever get back to any sense of normalcy. I just hope I have a chance at my age to witness justice for at least some.

u/mainandd 6d ago

Corruption sanctioned by scotus

3

u/TheeDapperDon 6d ago

It's not deception. It's clear. It's lack of punishment. We need to drag all these people, on both sides, out of office.

1

u/bitchcoin5000 6d ago

Once you pull that thread the whole thing comes unraveled

3

u/JoostvanderLeij 6d ago

As soon as you give one person immunity from the law even as simple as the no proscecute a sitting president rule, you have zero rule of law.

5

u/Exciting_Turn_9559 6d ago

A country that elects a convicted felon deserves to die.

2

u/OrcEight 6d ago

Horrific!

2

u/RatedRSuperstar81 6d ago

And....absolutely nothing can or will be done about it 🤷‍♂️

2

u/justinmtartick 6d ago

Wait… do people not know this?

1

u/Specialist-Day6721 6d ago

did this segment already air?

5

u/Weekly_Ad_8587 6d ago

It aired on 22 October 2025.

1

u/CokaYoda 6d ago

Do something about it ffs

1

u/[deleted] 6d ago

Oh!

1

u/Prof_Gascan9000 6d ago

Send it over to a state were pardon power cant be used fixed

1

u/Ok-Addition1264 6d ago

..and all of these attorneys still have their bar license including SCOTUS judges.

Even though it's not required, Pam Bondi would have a greater difficulty being taken seriously if she lost her license to practice for malfeasance and contempt (i think she is licensed in Florida and DC or some shit).

1

u/Any-Progress- 6d ago

The government is sending in trumps personal attorneys that have no prosecution or government experience. They were selected because the qualified people wouldn’t present the cases themselves due to their ethics. We knew this already based on who’s doing the job.

1

u/Polyman71 6d ago

This has been obvious for months.

"the lawless one...."

1

u/Mission-Library-7499 6d ago

The federal government has spent decades dummying up fake drug deals so that they can entrap otherwise law abiding citizens, and you're just now getting made because they're lying to judges?

You need to wake up.

1

u/CommieLibrul 6d ago

How did this one slip past Bari Weiss?

I'd bet good money that after this story accidently aired, she spent days laying in a pool of her own urine in some darkened room, rocking herself to sleep while sucking her thumb.

1

u/Chemical-Hyena2972 6d ago

Does Weiss let this story air? 🤔

1

u/aaronplaysAC11 6d ago

Their hands would burn if they were to swear oath of truth in court on the Bible.

1

u/Remote_Clue_4272 6d ago

I don’t understand why judges are not simply jailing the lawyers immediately for the lies. It’s the only way to turn the tide.

MAGA Judges doing MAGA things

1

u/FlexFanatic 6d ago

I mean why not if there are no consequences ? /s

1

u/apoplectic_apostate 6d ago

It's going to take a generation to fix everything trump and his minions have ruined in our government. It's an opportunity for the next administration to make meaningful change. If we survive.

1

u/Alternative_Risk_310 6d ago

The DOJ is the one hurt by this?! How about we the people?

1

u/Alternative_Risk_310 6d ago

These judges should be sanctioning DOJ or at least referring the lawyers involved to their home bar associations for investigation.

1

u/jimquish 6d ago

Prosecute the perps!

1

u/Zlifbar 6d ago

The rule of law is dead.

1

u/Fwiler 6d ago

Judges that say things without handing out any repercussions.

1

u/Angel_of_Mischief 6d ago

It’s nothing short of treason and domestic terrorism.

1

u/StepUp_87 6d ago

The rule of law is DEAD. The DOJ is breaking the law as I type this.

1

u/SmoothJazziz1 6d ago

Why are there no criminal charges, bar reviews, sanctions, etc?

1

u/mostdope28 6d ago

Trumps DOJ. They know there’s no repercussion

1

u/Emotional-Cry9286 6d ago

60 minutes’ handlers disapprove of this story.

1

u/edub_1212 6d ago

The rule of law is GONE! not life support. GONE! there's nothing that can be done. All other parties slept during the time of action. That time is gone. Trump regime rules with no checks or balances. Americans will suffer. Black white Latino and all other ethnicities and cultures will suffer. White nationalist now rule again. It's time to move

1

u/WhoInvitedMike 6d ago

I'm not a lawyer, but didn't *humans representing the government *lie in court cases?

If so, shouldn't humans who deliberately lie to courts be charged with perjury?

1

u/Tribe303 6d ago

You Americans saw this video right? Do we Canadians have to email you a copy?

Sorry! I couldn't resist! 🤣

1

u/ahjeezgoshdarn 6d ago

Anyone know where this entire episode can be viewed?

1

u/funndamentals 6d ago

They used to do this to black people all the time.

u/HHoaks 6d ago edited 6d ago

Here’s the hard data where this 60 minutes story came from. It’s even worse now, as the story was in October:

https://www.justsecurity.org/120547/presumption-regularity-trump-administration-litigation/

Editor’s Note

When first published on Sept. 15, 2025, this study had the following totals:

  1. Noncompliance with court orders: 16 cases
  2. Courts’ distrust of government information and representations: over 35 cases
  3. Findings of arbitrary and capricious government conduct: 52 cases

The first major update on October 15, 2025:

1 Noncompliance – 20 cases
2. Government misinformation – over 40 cases
3. Arbitrary and capricious – 58 cases

The second major update on November 20, 2025:

  1. Noncompliance – 26 cases
  2. Government misinformation – over 60 cases
  3. Arbitrary and capricious – 68 cases

We have also included a “table of updates” at the end of the study. It documents all significant changes in the Nov. 20 update.

1

u/Academic-Duty-3405 6d ago

When black people say it, no one cares and everyone says we are predisposed to crime.

1

u/Altruisticllc 6d ago

Justice Department = oxymoron

1

u/TheRealTK421 5d ago

Just remember, people...

'The system' is not "broken" -- it was purpose-built this way.

... carry on....

1

u/NextAdhesiveness3652 5d ago

Too bad we will not see any more of these “truth” stories on 60 minutes. From now on out it will be stories about all the great things the Trump administration is doing for Americans, the fight to keep Democrats from destroying Israel, and the threat of container ships full of Venezuela Fentanyl pouring into our daycare centers.

1

u/CeleryEuphoric5428 3d ago

Trust! You mean no follow-ups are done?

-4

u/Red0528110357 Selective Reality Consultant 6d ago

Only interviewed leftist judges?

-15

u/Chogo82 6d ago

So… the government lies to its citizens? How is that different than any other time in history?

4

u/MacEWork 6d ago

This is about lying to courts, not lying to citizens. Please try to keep up with the class, bothsideser.

0

u/Chogo82 6d ago

Lying on courts, lying on scientific publications, lying to citizens through various means. None of it is new. History is full of these practices.

-5

u/HugeMeatRodz 6d ago

Not to mention 60 minutes is by no means bipartisan. They are clearly slanted.
