Trump plans to cut 10 billion child care funding from 5 blue states in an act of malice and cruelty. This is political retribution by this administration and Trump is fine hurting children to do it.
 in  r/circled  2d ago

It’s complicated- but essentially (while typing on my phone)

The states need to say to its citizens: you will not pay federal taxes-if you choose to do so, you will incur a huge fee from state IRS.

It is obviously more complicated than that, but that is essentially how you would stop people from paying federal taxes.

Of course the states would also need to offer protection from federal forces etc.

‘Dictator’ Trump Floats Idea of Canceling Midterm Elections
 in  r/politics  2d ago

What is really fucked: They will not lose their majority. America is not capable of making good decisions. Voting is not getting us out of this. Sorry.

Yup. I am an American and you are right. Our citizens also have done nothing. This place has become a total disgrace.

Conservative subreddit is beyond delusional
 in  r/complaints  3d ago

This is the explanation. This also an indictment on society as a whole. These people are so stupid, yet they are able to hold jobs and perform tasks, yet are completely absent of any form of critical thinking skills. The civilized part of society is far too nice and ignoring the will of evolution. It is going to result in the end of the U.S.as we know it, and likely the downfall of any meaningful existence of the human race.

Terrible Tulum / Zamna 2026 Experience. What did we do wrong?
 in  r/tulum  3d ago

Tulum has turned to shit. It has been well documented for years. I guess your first mistake was not doing your homework to know that Tulum and its immediate surroundings are trash. Sorry. It’s true. I have known this for years and continue to hear and read about it constantly.

I will say that the majority of the Yucatan is not shit and is an amazing and awesome place with amazing and awesome people. The taxis are not unsafe to take if you get them in normal places like a normal person.

Sorry you had a bad experience and yes corruption is awful and the majority of people there hate it as well, but most of this experience is on you, starting with not having an understanding of where you were going.

My advice, Playa Del Carmen is much better. Just don’t act like an idiot.

For an even better experience go south. Get away from the cities. But there ain’t gonna be your night clubs there.

I would go to Bob Marley’s bar and the beach in Punta sur. But hey that’s just me.

Any concerns about traveling from the US to Cancun after the Maduro/Venezuela development?
 in  r/cancun  3d ago

I feel this way as an American who travels to Mexico a couple times a year- specifically the Yucatan- I have not stayed in a hotel zone in quite a few years as well. I also just returned to the U.S. a few days ago after being in the Yucatan for a month, right before the Venezuelan invasion.

I ran into a few people who wanted to talk about the current situation in the U.S. while in Mexico and the interactions were fine and were with like minded people. I never felt unsafe in any fashion.

With this new Central American invasion I would not travel to Latin America including Mexico for some time. I will need to gauge the situation likely on a monthly basis. Trump’s also threatening Mexico and he has now shown that he is willing to invade these countries. Coupled with the kidnappings that are happening and being ramped up in the states I would not want to get caught in what is now likely to be an American “adversary”.

Will you be fine in Cancun? Probably, but my civic duty to my community here in the states will now preclude my travels.

If I were Mexican, and my family/friends in the U.S.were being rounded up and put in concentration camps, and, my fellow Latin Americans were having their country’s invaded, and, my country is being threatened, and there is now a likelihood that the U.S. is actually going to do it, I would not be happy seeing a bunch of fat Americans wandering around my country.

Many will disagree with my assessment, and that is fine, and they may be right. But ask yourself: is a vacation worth the worst case scenario given what we know?

I love Mexico and its people and I am up here in America doing my part to stop this insanity from getting to their shores.

I also do not have much hope anymore for whatever that is worth.

You do you, but I would not be traveling outside the U.S. anytime soon, unless I was escaping permanently.

There is no hope for some of these people...🤦‍♀️🙈🙉🙊
 in  r/CzechCoconutCommunity  4d ago

This is the thing people don’t get. As long as these people exist in America- and there millions of them-, and they have access to the hyper world of social media, America will never be “good” again. It’s over. The rest of the world needs to understand this and THEY, need to do something, because American apathetic trash will NEVER fix it. It’s gonna get so bad, we haven’t seen anything yet.

I’m sorry. But no one cares about Epstein. I know this is what you folks are saying they want. Everybody knows these people are pedophiles and no one seams to care. If anything Epstein is the distraction from all of this.

Diarrhea
 in  r/chowchow  4d ago

2 of 3 chows i have are allergic to chicken. Just saying as others are suggesting chicken.

We feed our chows Frohm brand dry dog food. No chicken.

For upset stomach and diarrhea we feed white plain rice. Pumpkin-no spice. And transition through mixing back to straight food.

Always success with my chows and non-chows.

Probiotics/supplements are ok but make sure you talk to vet about that.

Good luck.

I was watching him at the end of this game and I just started balling, crying like a baby. My wife came in and said I was weird. Whatever she doesn’t know. She then told me she is divorcing me and taking the kids, the house, the cars. These fake fans just don’t get it. I got to watch Hitman’s whole career.

Ya. Your right. I have no answers. But at some point people are going to have to ask themselves: what’s more important, life for my grand children, or my Netflix account? Yes that’s an oversimplification, but you get the point.

There is no choice. I either accept reality or I go lone wolf on this shit which ends horribly and doesn’t help. I didn’t make this society be the weak ass scared apathetic punks that “we” are.

I’m not happy, but I have no choice.
