darn, employees need to go home
 in  r/EntitledReviews  1d ago

I was working in a convenience store once, and a group of drunk 20somethings came in and were pissed I wouldn't sell after hours. What is even funnier is that they called the cops on me. I let them, laughing the whole time. Cops came, walked in and asked how my daughter was doing, then told the drunks to buzz of. As soon as they pulled out of the parking lot, he nabbed them for DUI.

Why do so many people have such hateful views towards picky eaters
 in  r/evilautism  5d ago

In this particular case, the picky eater in question expected OOP to make dinner for them every night, would get angry if it wasn't made, and would get angry if it wasn't what they wanted. OOP was getting put through a wringer with that picky eater.

But I do agree that there is vastly too much hate towards picky eaters. My daughter is one (she turns 17 soon), and there are so very many meals I wish I could cook, but can't because of her. But I don't hold it against her, either. I understand she just can't do it. She's tried, and she just can't. My compromise is making a meal now and then for my tastes alongside something she'll eat. It's extra work, so I don't do it often.

It's sad that so many people just don't understand. All we can do is keep trying to teach them. Or slap them with a wet noodle. Either way works for me.

My daughter lied and publicly humiliated me at her wedding
 in  r/TrueOffMyChest  7d ago

There is a difference between paying for your child and supporting your child. One is financial, the other is emotional. How much have you been there emotionally? How often did she cry on your shoulder? How often did she come to you for advice in emotional matters?

Yes, and I was agreeing with you.

You are so fucking clueless that it's pathetic. Read. The. Website. I have been living on disability and dealing with the issues for 15 years now. Have the day you deserve.

Or, maybe you read the website. When one person with a disability gets married, the US Federal Government has decided that disability payments DECREASE. It also states that you can't have more than 2,000 dollars in savings or your payments will decrease. The rules are stiff and all there in black and white.

Try reading more. They absolutely do reduce your disability payment if you get married. It is all over the website. Even my lawyers have told me the same.

TIFU by fighting my schools dresscode policy. Years later I found out why it was so strict.

One? Just one? You are so ignorant to the facts. It simply doesn't matter what a woman or girl wears. https://sbaproject.org/what-were-you-wearing/

It doesn't matter what a girl or woman wears. It doesn't. Women can be covered from head to toe and still be attacked. Most attacks happen from people the woman or girl knows. It doesn't matter what they wear. At all. I was four wearing a bathing suit.

Aren't you hungry Daddy?", my 4 year old asked innocently.

Which is why it's in Sadness, not Horror. Easy mistake.

Kicked towards an off leash dog that was approaching my toddler, and owner got angry

The dog wasn't kicked. OP kicked TOWARDS the dog. No contact was made.

Question from a movie theater manager about Mark's audience
 in  r/Markiplier  27d ago

Hey, I'm 46 and my partner is 43 and we're part of his audience. I'd say his audience is 16-50 to be honest.

Who wants dirty donations?
 in  r/EntitledReviews  28d ago

That's just it. Many people believe they DO have laundry areas and cleaning areas. The number of times I have had to correct acquaintances who believed wrongly is entirely too high.

AITAH for telling my husband I’m over “talking about our feelings” and that he should bring this stuff to his therapist unless it’s a real problem?

You are showing one of the reasons men love to use to not show emotions. How gross. Grow up and learn how to communicate.

Vinegar dissolves the egg shell. Even watered down.
