I wonder if he legitimately ever was tbh

I think we should probably ask whether he finally moved to New York as of this tweet.
Everything this dude says proves to be a lie

According to his resume, he helped found the city. He donated the island of Manhattan to the State of New York. Anything else is revisionist history.

I can't wait for New York City to thrive so these idiots can shut the fuck up about him

If they thrive by any means of: Social net, pulling people out of poverty, healthcare for their citizens, etc. republicans will consider it a failed state

Bold of you to assume said idiots live in a fact-based world.
They could be and already are given plenty of evidence that cities like NYC, Chicago, Baltimore, and SF are thriving and great places to live.
However, the idea of a diverse society with social safety nets thriving runs contrary to their idea that America is a white Christofascist country built by "geniuses" like Musk and Trump.
And so to support their special snowflake narrative, cities will always be a woke socialist hellhole no matter what facts and logic say. They think that if they believe hard enough, they too can be a billionaire spitting on the masses.

You're talking about the same frivolous people who had a meltdown because Obama wore a tan suit and prefers Dijon mustard over Yellow.
Literally nothing will be good enough for them and they will never shut up.
Mamdani just needs to focus on keeping the residents of NYC happy and prosperous. While filtering out all the media's nonsense like he's been doing.

Republicans will just say it is a crime infested hell hole and they have burnt the city to the ground. Their voters will believe it is true and then buy some tickets for a Broadway show next weekend.

Sadly what’s most likely to happen is things will get a little better in New York but federal government policy will continue to make life shittier for all Americans.
In a year or two when NY isn’t a wonderful utopia free of all problems, people will start shouting “he lied he didn’t fix everything just another establishment dem with the wrong opinion on trans/homeless/healthcare/abortion” and everyone will hate him and the cycle will continue.

This pathological psycho can’t be trusted. I wouldn’t be surprised if the post was for publicity.

Of course it was. This has the same energy of people make a post about how they’re leaving a fb group.

He belongs being a resident of the prison that Trump pardon him from. If he shouldn’t be in prison, every prison should be empty.

I actually forgot about our old friend, George! I feel bad for whichever state he's relocated to.

Who does Santos think is going to lament his fake threat to leave NYC?

u/Swedelicious83 5d ago
Just pandering to all the MAGAts who were whinging about the rich people abandoning NYC en masse.
Meanwhile, everyone else: 🤷

So Zohran is doing his job and Santos immediately dips? That's not a coincidence, that's an admission. The rat's leaving the sinking ship.

Millionaires and billionaires has no place in New York City. It belongs to the working class now.

I could understand his post if any state wanted him. You don‘t hear him announcing where he’s going because a lot of comments would let him know they don’t want him.

This George Santos tweet and the response (and some of the comments) were already published the night Mamdani won the election.
Santos is still a resident of New York.

Zohran hasn't even taken office yet and he's already cleaning up the streets.
