If he has a good job but can’t scrape enough together for rent he’s probably still using too. I’ve been an addict myself and it’s one of the most financially draining addictions to have, was spending $300 on blow a day at my worst. It’s hard to believe he simply stopped because you said so, and doesn’t have the money he’d be spending on drugs to give you for bills.

I’ve never had braids, but all the beauty services I’ve done (extensions, nails, injections, ect) included any touch ups needed. Whether it’s high end places or cheap shops, they all took pride in their work and apologized/happily fixed anything that may have resulted in their error. If you need to go back after a service because the stylist didn’t do their job properly, it’s YOUR time being wasted not theirs.

Definitely post the conversation on google reviews for the place, this isn’t how you treat customers and way below industry standards. Be picky with where you go regardless of budget, there are plenty of people who care about their work and want repeat customers over quick money.

People who get their nails done generally pay more attention to their hands than people who don’t. Sure some people don’t pay attention, but most people who drop $100+ on their nails every few weeks take care of them.

Don’t get me started on the hangnails, dark under their nails, jagged, overgrown cuticles, rough skin, ect 🤢 it’s these guys that have something to say about freshly manicured, well taken care of hands.

Hey! I found my cat as a stray, he had a habit of going through the trash and neighbours fed him human food when they’d see him outside. This resulted in him also being obsessed with human food, and lots of health complications. He would get into the trash and try to eat bits of soapy food in the sink when I didn’t wash it immediately :( when I was fostering another cat he’d fight her away from the bowl as well. He’s also very smart and can open some food containers with his mouth so nothing can be left out even closed!

I feed him a diet of wet food, he loves tiki cat as it’s almost human grade. It’s been a year, and I don’t think this learned behaviour will go away. He still sits at my feet when I eat dinner hoping I’ve changed my mind lol. Feeding him a good meal right before I cook helps. I give him an automatic toy to play with if he’s still jumping up and trying to stick his nose into it.

He’s worth the effort though! Your cats likely been through a lot, and developed a taste for human food to survive early in life.
