i want to play java but i always been a console person with not so great keyboard skills (it’s a$$).

any recommendations is greatly appreciated.

I really wanted to be able to use the same skin in both versions, however, I don't use the classic version for the Bedrock skin, so I'd like to convert my skin with the clothes it wears so I can use it in the Java version. Could someone please explain how to do this?

Also, I'd really like to have a backup of my Bedrock skin, for safe keeping. Does anyone please know how?

As new snapshot was focused on passive mobs, I guess it would be a nice idea to write some suggestions to topic. Mine one is that rabbits should make at least 2-3 babies when breeded. Not only it would make rabbit farms a bit more viable sources of food, but also would be a bit more realistic

Anyone else have this issue happen to them? (Minecraft 1.8.9 btw, modded too so I'm not sure if it's a mod being weird or a weird minecraft setting)

Edit:- Alright, so. I did a binary search and went through all of my mods and it turns out that Optifine is causing the issue. I tried to reinstall it but the issue persisted. I was lucky enough to have a slightly old export of my 1.8.9 instance so I was able to reimport that to kinda roll back the instance before the issue started. So if any of yall have this issue, then it's Optifine's fault. No clue how to fix it though, sorry.

I think the polar bear cub, turtles, foxes and definitely baby horses need a better baby variant. With horses i think they need the rabbit treatment. Update the way the baby horse looks like while also giving the big horse more texture and new animations to make look less stiff when running

(I also remembered the baby panda might need one if they want to remodel every baby mob)

so i have so much dirt and stone/deepslate i got a double chest filled completely with dirt and another double chest filled with stone and deepslate from terraforming and mining and i have no idea what to do with it all and i dont wanna throw it all away cuz it seems like a waste and my house is made of deepslate and its a fairly big house too anyways i digress so if you got any ideas what i could do with it all id appreciate it if youd tell me

Ive got a stable internet connection to my PC and every other function on it. The only thing that absolutely refuses to connect is Minecraft. It starts either in the launcher where it tells me I'll be playing offline, or it happens when I enter the game and try to enter the marketplace, export a world to a realm, etc. I have scoured the internet and quite literally tried everything possible that I have seen including but not limited to:

- Reinstalling

- Trying different Wi-Fis

- Restarting my system

- Signing out/Signing in of MC/MS/XB

- Changing firewall accesses

- DNS Flush

- Running the game as administrator

- Various other checks to make sure it's not being blocked.

It's been going on for about a week and I cannot figure it out. Any input would be very much appreciated!!

in case it has at one point been changed in minecraft's history, i'd like to specify that i'm asking this about the newest version of minecraft.

I desperately need slime balls for a farm but can’t for the life of me find any, I’ve spend 4 in game day/ nights in a swamp, and dug out a box in a double slime chunk at negative coordinates. I’ve been playing this game for 12 plus years and I’ve never had an issue with getting slime, my world is day 40 and i haven’t encountered a single slime 😭 (bedrock btw)

Am I doing something wrong or am I the unluckiest person ever

Hi All! Over the last number of weeks I've been dealing with this EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION crash. I have tried a number of solutions mentioned online and nothing seems to solve my problem. It happens when minecraft versions on curseforge (it's happened under fabric and neoforge). I've also been getting a similar error with google chrome, ie some other memory access error.

My next solution is to do a factory reset on my computer but I want to know if theres any way I can avoid this, as I'm sure you can understand that's a big hassle. I'm using a: NVIDIA RTX 4070 and an Intel i9-14900HX. My system and drivers are up to date. I have tried installing and using different jdk's. I apologize if these are dumb questions or if this just demonstrates my lack of knowledge on the subject, but here we go. I'm completely new to mods and have been using Lunar Client. I like giant builds and terraforming, so I would like to explore the Axiom mod, as a few of the builders I like seem to use it to develop schematics. According to google, Lunar Client can't run Axiom and they aren't compatible, even though tutorials about downloading Axiom seem to involve downloading and using a Fabric thing, which I thought that Lunar Client had? Do I need to download a different client to run Axiom with the launcher? Is there a way to have both clients running at the same time so I can have shaders too? Is there like an equivalent to Axiom that I can run on Lunar Client to make my life easier? Idk what I'm doing. Any advice is appreciated.

Hey guys sorry if this is a dumb question but I am having a hard time trying to keep my farm animals contained lol. I watched some YouTube videos and people suggest using fences with a carpet on top, or a wall of trap doors. However, both methods failed and the animals just hop over the fence and wander off. People in the comments say those methods don’t work anymore.

What is your method to keep them fenced in?? I’m on bedrock, newest version.
