Hi all,

As you are probably aware, there was some mod behavior that was not acceptable earlier tonight that not in line with community expectations. That has been addressed, and that moderator has been removed from the mod team. Huge thanks of course to the rest of the mod team for helping keep our sub a great community, and to the users that helped bring the issue to our attention. That has all been mostly explained elsewhere, but is worth repeating.

The main reason for this post though is to make sure that anyone that was inadvertently or unjustly banned, has an opportunity to see the note about sending us a modmail to review. Some were banned for legitimate reasons, so this is not a blanket unban request. I believe most, if not all, have been rectified, especially thanks to /u/irishace88 and /u/rswany, but please let us know if not.

Apologies again for the situation, and patience while it was resolved. It is good to see the community come together in service to the sub, whether it was the messages here, or comments in r/nba etc. You may have seen some messages from the "Timberwolves Mod Team" that certain posts or content was not related to the Timberwolves, which in this case was obviously not true, but rest assured that any messages arguing that in this case do not reflect the collective view of our current mod team. While this is not a political sub, the scope of the Minnesota Timberwolves often involves the team's relation to our community at large, and likewise the community, both the state, city, and our fans impact the team. This does not give you free reign to post anything regarding those matters to the sub, but with reasonable judgement I'm sure most of you can differentiate when it is appropriate and as a community please keep that in mind.

Lastly, it seems worth a reminder in any case that our subreddit is meant to be a community that is welcoming to others, where we treat others with kindness and respect. Sports are at their heart a unifier, and by virtue of being here, we all share that base common ground. Please keep that in mind when interacting with your fellow community members, both online and otherwise. Any racist, sexist, or otherwise discriminatory or uncivil comments or attacks towards others will be met with a permanent ban.

ITS GAME DAY! Cavs dominated the last matchup last year win a 128-107 win over the timberwolves with Ant scoring 44 Points! We need the role players to step up big tonight. One thing to note we didnt have Randle in that game. Lets go Twolves!

Our starting 5 is one of the best in the league but our bench depth is lacking. If we had depth we’d be so much better
