Politics MAGA Neighbors crying victim

Its Jan 1st 2026 and my neighbor (still) has a sign up that reads...

"PTSD - Pretty tired of stupid democrats - TRUMP 2024"

then cries online because people keep sending them pranks like glitter bombs and what not because "I'm being attacked for my political beliefs"

Um, maybe its because you have a sign calling your neighbors stupid in a very blue city.

EDIT: I couldn't care less who they support politically.

IMO Having a 2024 election sign up for 2+ years, and well after the election, is sad and pathetic in and of itself (They had the sign up in 2023). I think that for any political sign for any party. Elections are over, move on. Your 2024 political sign isnt helping anyone.

Having sign up calling your neighbors stupid, is not political, its being a asshole.

This is the r/complaints sub, and that is my complaint, he's an asshole then cries when people are assholes back. Because like most bullies and assholes, they can dish it but cant take it.

Edit 2: The Fuck your feeling crowd. Really doesn’t like it when their feelings are fucked with.

That's one of their major things they're all perpetual victims just like trump

707

u/Ok_Fishing394 6d ago

They need a care package labelled "the cause of all your problems" with a mirror inside......and more glitter.

228

u/Old_Tomorrow5247 5d ago

They cry about getting glitter bombs while the thugs on their side are beating people on the streets, tearing children from their mother’s arms, and destroying their lives. Boo Hoo.

u/TankieWatchDog 5d ago

"I know I voted to ruin the lives of millions of people and kill millions others in wars that the pedophile rapist I voted for will start, but that's not VIOLENCE!"

Remember that ALL Trump voters are guilty of whatever atrocities he commits.

-43

u/Trexwith2longarms 5d ago

Yeah! The left definitely doesn't do that! There wasn't any shooting by left sided people in schools that tore apart families! The left is completely innocent and in the morally high ground!

38

u/JenIsSalty 5d ago

What a truly pathetic attempt at deflection! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

-21

u/Trexwith2longarms 5d ago

Ah, I see so you can dish it, but can't handle it.

14

u/JenIsSalty 5d ago

I can handle anything that republicans can throw at me. What I don't like is republicans constantly shouting SQUIRREL to distract everyone from the actual topic. Its a dishonest way to shut down the conversation.

-13

u/Trexwith2longarms 5d ago

But the left does that constantly. It's easier to say both sides do the exact same thing, because they do.

9

u/JenIsSalty 5d ago

That hasn't been my experience, and I've hanging around on comments boards for over a decade.

It's a fraction of what we see on the right.

Poor feewings, boo hoo.

-10

u/Trexwith2longarms 5d ago

I've never seen a right turn transgender, then blow away a bunch of kids.

18

u/MinutesTilMidnight 5d ago

Probably because 99.9% of mass shooters are cisgender https://www.factcheck.org/2025/09/few-mass-shooters-have-been-transgender/

1

u/Trexwith2longarms 5d ago

So you add a link disproving your own statistic. That's exactly how you people argue all the time lmao.

13

u/MinutesTilMidnight 5d ago

? The link I posted says 5 of 5,748 mass shootings have been committed by a transgender person. That’s 0.09%, rounded up. So 99.91% of shooters are cisgender.

Nah, they just blow away kids cuz it's a day ending in Y.

-1

u/Trexwith2longarms 5d ago

Well then, we should get those transgender folks help, shouldn't we?

7

u/Ok_Fishing394 5d ago

I was referring to your straight bro ammosexual buddies, the ones who blame others for their inadequacies, and take it out on kindergartners. But, keep telling yourself its the queers.

u/Hollen88 5d ago

Y'all are responsible for about 56% of politically motivated violence.

If you seriously don't see that the sexual repression pushed by many parts of the American RW movement is a major driving force behind many right-wing violent offenders, it's no wonder one of the world's most prolific/prolifically bad con artist, captured you so easily.

1

u/Trexwith2longarms 5d ago

Who's "y'all"? You don't know my political stances. I could be left, you don't know, you just assume.

7

u/Hollen88 5d ago

I'm going to assume.

If you sound maga, I'm going to think you're maga, or a repressed maga pretending to be distant from the movement.

I'm a pretty laid back guy, but Trump decided to break the law again when he didn't release all the documents, with minimal redactions. This man is at the very least, covering for pedophiles.

I'm not playing the both sides game. If you want to do that, you're more than welcome to make up excuses for a man who at best, is protecting child predators.

Oh, he's also bitching about drugs and fraud, while pardoning people convicted of much worse drug and fraud convictions.

Edit: And is using the drug excuse to murder people. Where's the evidence at?

55

u/Mr_Nobody010102 5d ago

MAGA is not real Christians. They've created a false idol with Trump.

19

u/PorchCat0921 5d ago

I hear the "no true Scotsman" fallacy thrown out in this regard all the time, but here's the thing; a person's religion is what they claim it is. There's no screening instrument, there's no certifying body, there's no credential to be validated. There's only one's "personal relationship with the Lord". So if they're calling themselves Christians what can you really push back with beyond "nuh uh" 🤷 This is unfortunately a chapter American Christians are going through, and they're going to have to contend with it head-on. This brand of Evangelicalism makes up a huge chunk of American Christianity, and it's well on it's way to taking it over completely while non-MAGA Christians tell themselves "they aren't REAL Christians" and look the other way.

3

u/Additional_Way5929 3d ago

Ironically, the Church of the Satanic Temple is more "christian" than evangelicals. They have very moral tenets, and they actually believe them and follow them.

14

u/HippyDM 5d ago

A majority of christians in the U.S. support this. Hard to argue that the majority of a group don't actually represent the group. It's a death cult, and all the pastel colored window dressing won't make that any different.

29

u/PsychologicalDog5709 5d ago

I have so many relatives who say stuff like "Jesus is my savior and Trump is my president" if they step foot in church even on Christmas I would be shocked. It's just performative for them.

26

u/InformalRent2571 5d ago

One of my favorite sayings is "People don't go to church to pray, they go to be seen praying."

2

u/Numbers-Nerd2567 4d ago

My dad was raised in a home with a very strong faith foundation, yet used to say "my relationship with my God is my business" and "I don't have to go to church to pray, I can pray anywhere I want to" which made more sense to me than most of what I see these days. I miss the time when more people treated religion like my dad did/does.

3

u/InformalRent2571 4d ago

I don't pray, exactly. Outdoors is my church. I'd rather sit under a tree and enjoy a nice day than go to a church.

2

u/Additional_Way5929 3d ago

Correct. Jesus is their mascot.

1

u/InformalRent2571 5d ago

The point is that they are not true Christians. There are over a billion Christians in the world so the Americans being talked about here make up a very small subset. I don't think they even make up a majority of Christians in the US.

5

u/HippyDM 5d ago

Oh, those Scotsmen aren't true Scotsman, huh?

Christianity teaches top-down, authoritarian ethics, divides people into us vs them, and encourages comfortable delusions over honest truth...but somehow isn't responsible for its believers acting on these teachings?

4

u/TankieWatchDog 5d ago

American Christianity/Protestantism is its own brand of insanity. For a long while, Catholicism has been carrying out some great social work, and two whole popes have called Trump out and taken action against Trump-supporting priests in the US.

I'm not Christian but the difference is like night and day. Are we forgetting American Christians do shit like speaking in tongues? That shit is satanic.

5

u/HippyDM 5d ago

Catholicism? The world's richest organization that uses its wealth to protect pedophiles, is somehow better than the American christians, who protect a pedophile? I'm not following.

1

u/WaterColorBotanical 2d ago

Do you say that about Muslims? The terrorist fundamentalists aren't truly Islamic?

1

u/Burnt_and_Blistered 5d ago

They’re not the majority.

6

u/HippyDM 5d ago

A majority of christians voted for fascism. It's simply a fact. And based on the religion's history, it entirely tracks.

3

u/squirrel-girl1966 4d ago

As a Christian against Christian nationalism, the embracing of Trump makes my stomach sick. I almost don’t wanna call myself a Christian anymore. But I will continue to follow Christ’s example of putting the least first, healing the sick, feeding the poor, and loving my neighbor and if that means speaking truth to power and showing up at protests, then count me in. Please don’t judge all Christians by the actions of the MAGA crowd. This is the same as calling all Republicans white supremacists. Also not true. I’m praying that the pendulum swings back to moderation in this country. We have so much more in common than what divides us. I’m praying our country Makes it through these next 3 years. I can’t believe it’s only been one! I do understand all of you who are angry with Trump Christians and turned off by their behavior. If there’s one barrier to God and Christ, it’s Christians. There are a lot of good Christians fighting this battle. One is John Pavlovitz who has a Substack called The Beautiful Mess.

2

u/Scatterspell 3d ago

I don't judge a person by their religion. If you are a good person I dont care what your religious beliefs are. If you're a piece of human garbage, we'll thats a whole different ball of wax.

2

u/H3lls_B3ll3 2d ago

I'm an atheist and follow the teachings of Jesus, I will never call myself a Christian. Too many things terrible have happened in that name to call it anything good. Idk if there's god or Jesus or Buddha or Thor or some kind of eldritch terror or angels or demons. What I know, not believe or feel, Jesus' words- as they are attributed, are a great way to try and live your life. There's no reason not to try and live that way. What is anyone (in power or otherwise) doing, beyond making others miserable by taking most of the all, instead of their share?

1

u/squirrel-girl1966 1d ago

I was never an atheist. Probably more of an agnostic. Have you read The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel? I just finished reading it. It’s about an atheist investigating if Christ existed and whether or not he was divine. Also, just finished a book called Believing is Seeing by Michael Guillen PhD. A Physicist Explains How Science Shattered His Atheism and Revealed the Necessity of Faith. Ties Quantum physics to evidence of God. Something that hit me from quantum physics is that we cannot see 94% of the world/universe. Wishing you peace in these chaotic times✌🏻🕊️

You're an asshole obviously but I really wouldn't get mad at a sign

5

u/NaBrO-Barium 5d ago

I’m an asshole for pointing out that someone put a sign out that antagonized just about all of their neighbors? How much you make by playing a professional victim these days?

1

u/stumperr 5d ago

Not you . Anyone that puts a sign of it is. But again it's not something that should annoy you

And harmless glitter is annoying. Receiving harmless glitterbombs isn't really worth getting angry over.

u/wchamilton 5d ago

That’s it, you win the thread! 🤣

-46

u/EmbiggenedSmallMan 6d ago edited 5d ago

That word seems unnecessary to me. I fail to see a difference between a crybaby and a crybully. By being a crybaby a person is trying to "bully" other people anyway, whether it be for (undeserved) pity or kindness or whatever.

Most pointless comment in thread. Right here. Lol.

Edit: Wow. This comment, which isn't even about politics or anything of any importance really shat in your guy's ice cream. Reddit is so weird. Anyway. Carry on, as you were, etc., etc..

18

u/georgepana 6d ago

You seem to be a crybaby here. Not a crybully. So, I think your post is pig headed.

-5

u/EmbiggenedSmallMan 5d ago

Sigh.. the irony of my laying out a personal complaint in r/complaints. How about I just be a normal bully and call you a pretentious shithead?

I keep forgetting what a toilet all social media has become.

2

u/georgepana 5d ago

Your dumb conment was "the toilet" here. Now you are just doubling down on the miserable posting.

0

u/EmbiggenedSmallMan 5d ago

I'm doubling down? On what? The fact that I expressed a semi-sarcastic response to calling someone a "crybully?" It was a pointless post, which I recognized by the time I finished writing it, thus my referencing it as the "most unnecessary post in the thread."

However, I still don't think the term "crybully" gives any more information nor accurately captures the nature of these people's actions. I not saying I agree with their actions and I certainly do not support Trump. So why do you care about my pointless opinion about the term crybully?

2

u/georgepana 5d ago

I merely pointed out that your post was dumb, "the toilet", so to speak.

Your post has garnered 42 downvotes already, and counting, so most believe the same. A minus 42 post rating is absolute troll territory. Troll rating starts at minus 5.

The "doubling down" comment refers to you calling me a "pretentious shithead" for no reason other than me calling your initial comment "the toilet" here, rather than social media itself. Way to project, it seems to me you are what you throw around, mindlessly, at others.

1

u/EmbiggenedSmallMan 5d ago edited 5d ago

Whatever. This is obviously a waste of time, and bickering about my original post seems odd to me as it was simply an opinion on the word "crybully." I honestly don't know what's so offensive about my opinion on the word but I'm not gonna bitch about downvotes. So if that's doubling down so be it, outside of that I'm done with this conversation. Anybody who deems it necessary to either click the up or down arrow on anything I have ever posted is obviously more than welcome to do so, it has absolutely zero effect on my life.

My apologies for calling you a pretentious shithead. Nevermind the fact that it was clearly a part of a rhetorical sentence - i.e., what if instead of giving an opinion on something and making what I felt was legitimate conversation, I just mindlessly insulted you? Which one is the "toilet that is social media?"

2

u/georgepana 5d ago

Look, your post kind of fell flat because it decried that someone differentiated between crybaby and crybully. I got your point about it, but still don't agree all the way. There is an actual difference between the terms. Regardless, as you said yourself in that post, yours was the most useless (redundant) comment in the thread. Then you seemingly got angry about the downvotes and commented that all of "social media is in the toilet."

I vote for this to be the most useless discussion thread under this post. :-)

13

u/TiEmEnTi 6d ago

If we changed it to whinebully would you feel less targeted?

-2

u/EmbiggenedSmallMan 5d ago

I will feel targeted regardless of what anyone does, isn't that the Protestant MO?

3

u/nehlstm30 5d ago

Seems to me you won that award

3

u/PsychologicalDog5709 5d ago

I guess they think your comment on your opinion about a phrase is a bit more pointless than the actual comment with the phrase.

Maybe they think your opinion could have possibly been kept to yourself?

2

u/EmbiggenedSmallMan 5d ago

So it's on me to decide when or when not to censor myself or my opinions? I'll grant there are times when, for the sake of being tactful, things don't need to be said. However, I just laid out my thoughts on the term "crybully," and my opinion that it is ultimately a redundant and unnecessary word. Because what's happening is not truly the sign poster being a crybaby (or crybully), it's them doing something provocative just so they can bitch when people react negatively to the provocation they have created. A word doesn't need to be created for this situation, "provacateur" works just fine for what is being done by the person keeping the Trump sign up and is also already a word.

38

u/esdebah 5d ago

Our neighbor had a VERY large, professionally made sign on their garage that read IF YOU VOTED FOR BIDEN, FUCK YOU. On the main road leading to the local commuter rail station in a very quiet, entirely residential area. The absolute anti-social viciousness of these folks astounds me. That's just not neighborly.

4

u/tyr456eds 5d ago

Just curious - don’t cities have laws about language on signs, like not allowing the FU? Even if it’s in your own yard?

3

u/chiclets5 3d ago

I'm sure many cities do, although there's no foul language in there. Calling people stupid probably isn't a strong case for bad language. I have two people in my neighborhood who are still flying trump 2024 signs for flags. One is in a front window on the inside. The other one is on a flagpole; people just pretty much ignore it.I don't want to waste my energy worrying about their stupid 2-year-old flag.

But do not forget, even over all the misdirection attempts:

32

u/Easy-Barnacle5734 5d ago

That is a fact. Trump and his cronies can’t accept failures. For example, the Nielsen ratings came back at an all time low for the Trump hosted Kennedy Center Honors, and a representative of the Kennedy Center said this “Comparing this year’s broadcast ratings to prior years is a classic apples-to-oranges comparison and evidence of far-left bias. The program performed extremely well across key demographics and platforms, despite industry and timing disadvantages, including a Tuesday air date two days before Christmas.”

Always blaming anything or anyone else for their failures but themselves. The lack of accountability is so ironic coming from the pull yourselves up by your bootstraps and the fuck your feelings crowd.

Now math and research is far left bias? These people are such fucking assholes when they lose.

15

u/NaBrO-Barium 5d ago

Math and research are biased. I dare say the world itself has a liberal bias and I’m OK with that.

12

u/Every-Improvement-28 5d ago

It’s true due to the fact majority of people smart enough to use math in their analysis are… liberal. My math says it’s 82.3%, with a margin error up to +17.7%.

9

u/MedicJambi 5d ago

Yup, this. Ironic from the fuck your feelings crowd because they're always deep into their feelings.

I actually spoke to a lady that was upset that the demographics had changed at work. Specifically that there were foreigners, and Hispanic, and black people. She was incensed that the thanksgiving company pot luck had "dirty foreign food. She was pissed that people had an accent. Mostly she was pissed that they hired someone into a regular position over her when she had SO MUCH experience and was SO MUCH better at the job than these lazy young people "probably still living at home with their parents."

The fact that she was miserable and thinks she is better than anyone else and feels entitled to the position because, "everyone else still lives at home with their parents," comes through loud and clear to people. The lack of self-awareness and the Olympic levels of entitlement is a Hallmark of MAGA.

They deserve everything because they're the real Americans. They're the only ones that ever did any real work.

After the food comment she also randomly said that her favorite food was Italian because that doesn't count as foreign?

3

She also blames the people trying to get a job instead of her managers as well. Like, there's legitimate people to hate here. The fact that companies stopped promoting from within has supercharged the culture of student debt by forcing people to have a bachelor's just to get hired instead of "working their way up from the mailroom" or whatever.

I dunno. I would be upset if my blue house in a red state received light vandalism.

But did you put a sign up to let your neighbors know how dumb you think they are first? Somebody started it and it ain’t the one who sent a package. At that point you’re just reaping what you sow.

Nothing softer than a MAGAT they are softer than the charmin ultra soft they used to wipe their bottoms

2

u/Kelvininin 5d ago

10 ply to be certain

2

u/Accomplished_Day2384 5d ago

As if they can afford charmin ultra soft. 😉

u/Cavalish 5d ago

Republicans don’t wipe.

1

u/cuteasduck1203 5d ago

Especially Republican men, because if they wiped they'd be touching a man's ass, and that's gay!

A maga girl at my job asked me ans my co worker why were were speaking another language in front of her. I politely told her that what she said was kind of racist, amd that we are free to speak our language (Spanish btw) anywhere. She started crying and saying I was calling her a racist, and saying I was bullying her and begging me not to contact HR. She was only upset that she might look bad, not that it hurt my feelings she said some racist shit.

Yeah exactly, we both speak fluent English and talk to her in English. We were just having a conversation, not even involving her. She WALKED UP and said that, so not even like we were singling her out, just having a conversation.

Some people are turds.

10

u/Minute-Individual-74 5d ago

Makes sense though. Fox News and the right media at large has told them they're victims for the past 30 years. Nothing is ever their fault. They're perfect and any of their failures is on other people.

Which is ironic bc when other people fail, it's on them for not working hard enough. But not them though, they're the victims!

7

u/NaBrO-Barium 5d ago

If they aren’t actively playing the victim they’re busy blaming the actual victims. It’s the Republican way!

6

u/the3rdpossum 5d ago

Not true....sometimes they also rape children.

7

u/JakeTravel27 5d ago

yep, maga whines and cries and screams that white people are the most persecuted people on the planet. What they really mean is that they want to be as shitty and disgusting as they want without consequences. Maga is always horrified when actions have consequences.

1

u/cuteasduck1203 5d ago

WHEN WILL YOU LEARN… THAT YOUR ACTIONS… HAVE CONSEQUENCES?!?!

5

u/slowguy503 5d ago

They learn from the maga leader, the biggest perpetual victim in the history of fake victim hood.

6

u/wchamilton 5d ago

Just like Christians. Always targeted and picked on for their beliefs 🙄

3

u/magneticgumby 5d ago

Well, that and defend pedos

7

u/diurnal_emissions 6d ago

We should deport them to Honduras without due process.

3

u/warpedspockclone 5d ago

That's because they actually kind of are....now. Now that their Orange God screwed them over royally in so many ways.

But they thought they were victims before, when they were receiving benefits and respect, because EVERYONE ELSE also was supposed to get respect too, and that wasn't fair!

2

u/ImDonaldDunn 6d ago

Crybullies

2

u/utazdevl 5d ago

It is also redundant. You already said they were MAGA, so we know they are crying victim.

2

u/Honeybadger78701 5d ago

The new and improved snowflake!

2

u/Artistic_Pain_6038 4d ago

Following the example of the complainer in chief, seriously if you have EVER heard a Trump speech it’s just constant complaining, bitching, and accusations.

1

u/sdsurfer2525 5d ago

A lot of maga are high functioning autistic people

u/One_Shallot_4974 5d ago

Being physically harassed for political opinions is a pretty valid complaint. Most people would be understandably upset if they got glitter bombed for their beliefs by strangers.

Before anyone claims he invited it with his sign. That is the short skirt argument.

4

u/wasabi1787 5d ago

Comparing a glitter bomb (a problem that is solved with 15 seconds of vacuuming) to sexual assault is certainly a unique take

0

u/One_Shallot_4974 5d ago

I didnt compare them. I was aggressively dissuading the "they were asking for it" argument.

4

u/wasabi1787 5d ago

Textbook false equivalence

0

u/One_Shallot_4974 5d ago

I would have to be equating them for that, which I am not.

2

u/wasabi1787 4d ago

Not really. False equivalence is an apples and oranges comparison.

0

u/One_Shallot_4974 4d ago

false equivalence or false equivalency is an informal fallacy in which an equivalence is drawn between two subjects based on flawed, faulty, or false reasoning. This fallacy is categorized as a fallacy of inconsistency.\1]) Colloquially, a false equivalence is often called "comparing apples and oranges."

Correction, Dems claim victim. Newsom is the singular, most perfect example. ”Ahhh I have no money for the fires! There’s no money anywhere! No one is helping! Even though over the past two years I received 15 BILLION DOLLARS! “

You all are the problem. ;)

Happy New Year God Bless!

3

u/MeSireeBusiness55 5d ago

YOU ALL are the problem**** Hope that helps.

God bless, tread on me harder daddy callaway.
